Expert in structuring, valuing, and risk-managing large-scale carbon offset and energy-transition projects, leveraging experience in structured products trading across energy and environmental markets. Holds a PhD (LSE) focussed on risk- taking during crises, lecturing financial risk at UCT and other universities.

Leading South African environmental lawyer with nearly twenty-five years in private practice, specialising in climate policy and governance – including drafting legislation and regulation, carbon markets strategy and tax, and contracting in respect of environmental attributes (carbon credits, renewable energy certificates, and others).
